Me: So Mom, are you having a good Mothers Day?
Mother Sparkles: Yes I am! It's lovely, dear. So much good food, good company... it's a wonderful day. And you're a wonderful daugher, Kristina Michelle.

Seriously? ;)
I remember my mom and dad referring to "Siggy Watercress" when I was very little and I had no idea to whom they were referring. Because of that, I'm about 90% sure it was an inside joke between the two of them.
It's the other 10% that is oh-so frightening. Both of them came of age in Southern California in the late 60's, which is enough to make me wonder sometimes, but I think I'm happier not knowing. Where my parents are concerned, ignorance is bliss.
